Spring and Summer Discovery Hikes – Come Join Us!

This year, Forest Park’s Discovery Hikes will be as fun and adventurous as they are educational! 

Beginning in April with our History of Forest Park hike on the 1st, we have a number of hikes focusing on the naturally occurring animal and vegetation life, like our Birding Hike and Nature Photography hikes on May 13th or our Wildflower Walk on June 3rd. We will host a number of special excursions into the park over the coming months.

Our Beers Made by Walking series will be hosted by a number of local breweries, as we learn about local, naturally occurring ingredients and some of the creative inspirations of Forest Park. These hikes are:

Aside from imbibing knowledge from our brewery partners, our seasonal medicinal herb walk series of hiking excursions led by students of the National University of Natural Medicine will explore the naturally occurring herbs that provide numerous health and medical benefits. These hikes  are:
