Help Forest Park Thrive for the Next 70 Years!

Forest Park ConservancyUncategorized

On September 25th, Forest Park celebrated its 70th anniversary! For all these years, this amazing place has given residents and visitors many gifts: miles of beautiful trails, important habitat for native plants and wildlife, and access to nature with essential environmental benefits, including clean water and air.

Not every city has such a place. We’re fortunate to benefit from and enjoy Forest Park, thanks to the past efforts of so many who worked hard to help protect and preserve it. Yet many people may not realize that Forest Park faces grave threats from invasive plants, climate change and urban growth. Ensuring Forest Park is healthy in the future will take a lot of work by the Forest Park Conservancy, volunteers and donors.

And we need your help to succeed. Your donation is critical to helping maintain Forest Park’s trails and restore habitat. It takes resources and money to coordinate 1,500 volunteers, purchase restoration materials, and to promote good stewardship of Forest Park.

In celebration of Forest Park’s 70th anniversary, you have a special opportunity to make your contribution work even harder:
Give today to help us reach our goal of raising $70,000 and Forest Park Conservancy will receive an additional $10,000!

But hurry, we only have until December 31, 2018 to meet this challenge. Every new gift or increased gift from current donors counts: Let’s work together the help make sure Forest Park not only survives but thrives for future generations.
