Forest Park Marathon

Forest Park ConservancyUncategorized

This year Go Beyond Racing is working closely with Animal Athletics to host the annual Forest Park Marathon, a fundraiser for The Forest Park Conservancy.

Race day is Saturday, August 16.

Instead of raising money for your registration like in years past, there is a simple race fee. Of course you’re welcome to (and we hope you will) donate extra to support The Forest Park Conservancy.

Because of restrictions in Forest Park this year due to the construction at Lower Macleay Park, the event is limited to just 100 marathoners. The race will start and finish at the junction of Wild Cherry and Leif Erikson trails, just a quarter-mile up from the gate at the end of Thurman Road.

Rather not run a marathon? Volunteer on race day! Since its dawn in 2011, The Forest Park Marathon has been a runner’s dream thanks to the caliber and commitment of Forest Park Conservancy volunteers. Help us carry that tradition by volunteering at this year’s Forest Park Marathon.
