Summer Nights Volunteer Work Party, July 30th

Date: 30-Jul-2019
Capacity: 30 (100% booked)

Join FPC second Summer Nights Volunteer Work Party! There's only three opportunities, so sign up today!

You can choose to get your hands dirty during a volunteer work party in Forest Park or stroll along the Lower Macleay trail for a guided natural and cultural history hike. Both will lead you back to Sasquatch Brewing, which is generously providing the first beer or drink on the house! In addition, Sasquatch Brewing will be donating 10% of the proceeds on these three Tuesdays, so bring your friends or colleagues or ask them to join you after and support Forest Park Conservancy.

Below are the details for our second Summer Nights and Hikes volunteer event:

What:  We will be using weed whips and rakes to clear the trail corridor of encroaching vegetation on the Wildwood Trail.
When: Tuesday, July 30th, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Where:  Wild Cherry & Dogwood Trailhead (Follow link to view map.)  Carpooling is encouraged. Limited parking is available at the trailhead and surrounding neighborhood.

Be prepared to hike up to 3 miles and get dirty. Long pants and sturdy shoes are required for your safety. Remember to pack plenty of water and dress for all weather conditions. Forest Park Conservancy will provide gloves, tools, and training.
Summer Nights 2019 is sponsored by Trailhead Credit Union and Sasquatch Brewing!
