Volunteer Crew Leader Training: Restoration Edition
Capacity: 30 (100% booked)
Do you want to develop your leadership skills and learn more about how FPC protects and restores the ecosystem in Forest Park?
Volunteer Crew Leaders are the backbone of our volunteer program in the park. They provide support to help manage the nearly 1,000 volunteers throughout the year to restore habitat and repair trails in Forest Park. Crew Leaders help with everything from helping to set up work parties to ensuring quality control at our project sites to leading small groups on the trails.
This training will include both indoor classroom and field work to give new crew leaders the foundation of skills they need. Returning crew leaders are also encouraged to attend to sharpen their skills!
After the training, crew leaders agree to help lead 3 events per year. Each crew leader will receive a crew leader hat and training manual.
The training is free and we will provide coffee and snacks + lunch!
When: Saturday, January 28th, time 9am - 2pm
