What better way to spend a summer evening than working the trails of Forest Park? Join us after work, school, or whatever it is you do all day, for this month's Summer Nights Volunteer Work Party! This limited time volunteer event is part of a three month Summer Nights series, every last Tuesday from June - August.

What? Summer Nights Volunteer Work Party sponsored by Laurelwood Brewing Company

We will be using weed whips and rakes to clear the trail corridor of encroaching vegetation.

When? Tuesday, August 26th, 6 pm to 8 pm

Where? Meet at Lower Macleay Trailhead. (Follow link to view map and generate directions.) Carpooling is encouraged. Street parking is available in surrounding neighborhood.

Be prepared to hike up to 2 miles and get dirty. Long pants and sturdy shoes are required for your safety. Remember to pack plenty of water and dress for all weather conditions. Forest Park Conservancy will provide gloves, tools, and training.

Following the work party, volunteers are invited to join the FPC field staff for beers at Laurelwood Brewing Company, 5115 NE Sandy Blvd.
