Overheard...

"The old growth hike was a fabulous event and one worthy of repeating. Others interested in the park will appreciate this opportunity...not only to visit the site but to do so accompanied by such a knowledgeable and engaging leader"

Volunteer tree planting event with Friends of Trees

Join Friends of Forest Park as we partner with Friends of Trees for another tree planting event in Forest Park. No experience is necessary! The work party involves planting and mulching native trees and shrubs. Friends of Trees will provide gloves, tools and guidance. Sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeves recommended. We do our best to make restrooms accessible at natural area events, but sometimes the only available restroom is in the woods or a ten minute walk away. No need to pre-register for this event.

You can find detailed directions by clicking here.

Many thanks to Food Front Co-Op for their generous support of this event.
