Here is a site standards page that you should follow when working with your website. These will also serve as a guide for new staff.

Some thing to keep in mind about home pages:

• Use this home as the bridge between your offline and online work. Highlight work, projects, stories that visitors may be seeing or hearing about in the offline world. 
  
• Use images with blurbs to pull people into your site.
• Your home page is the most important page on your site
• Complete you home page last after you have some content in your site that you want to highlight.
