- 50th Anniversary republication of Thornton Munger’s History of Forest Park.
- Friends of Forest Park Quarterly newsletter for members
- Lecture series on Forest Park (2002)
- “Oregon’s land use laws” workshop, open to the public (2003)
Other materials created by Friends of Forest Park:
Mountain Bike Maps: In 2004 Friends of Forest Park joined forces with Portland United Mountain Pedalers (PUMP) to create a free mountain bike map of Forest Park. Not only does it show where you can ride, it also has elevation profiles. You can download it from the FFP website.
All Trails Challenge: Free maps and detailed instructions, including trail access, distances, and elevation change, are available so you can meet the challenging of hiking or running all of the trails in Forest Park. Check out the web site for more information, then send us a SASE for the maps. We will be re-launching this program in 2007. Keep an eye on our website for more information.
Hiking & Running Guide to Forest Park: 10-map Set: Our popular map set includes information on nine loop hikes along with an overview map of Forest Park.
