A volunteer work party extravaganza, celebrating the 60th anniversary of Forest Park

We hope you will consider joining us for this important volunteer event rallying neighbors, community members and business partners for a day of stewardship in Forest Park. Volunteer events such as Day of Stewardship are critical to the work of The Forest Park Conservancy. We simply could not do it without your help.

Forest Park has an impressive trail system of over 70 miles. Recreational pressures and the encroachment of non-native invasive species increase the need for ongoing stewardship. This September event will focus on trail projects and removal of non-native invasive species. We will start the day off right thanks to Food Front Co-Op, Grand Central Bakery and Stumptown Coffee. We will be raffling a number of items off, including ten coupons for a free pair of Keen shoes. There will also be a volunteer appreciation party to follow.

Over 165 volunteers turned out for our last Day of Stewardship in March, and we are once again planning for a large turnout. Follow the link below to reserve your spot and receive more information about driving directions and other logistics. Please register individually (excepting families).
